Skiing Day One

 Last week our class went to Mt Ruapehu to ski. On our first skiing day I was really happy. I ate all my breakfast. Then we got on the bus. Here is a picture of Kyle and I on the bus with all our skiing gear on.

100 years in the future

I landed on Mars . I stepped into my spaceship classroom  
an elevator took me over to my desk as school started.
The robot teacher  was teaching. He is mean and stupid and
He gives us exams every day. His name is Dodo but we threw
sheep guts at Dodo. I played farming simulator 2117.
Dodo robots alarm went off. It was lunch time . My robot appeared
in front of me and he poured a soft mixture of soup into my mouth
and then he disappeared as quick as he came.
Then I  strapped on my motor bike that flies in the air and I went
like a bullet to the game deck to play GTA.

Christmas Tree

 In Team Awa we made a poem. First we sketched a Christmas tree and I wrote down words that reminded me of Christmas. Then I wrote a poem about Christmas.

Greats and Grands Day

Rules

1. Line the hoops in a shape like a snake.

2  Even teams boys verses girls.

3. Then  the two teams jump to each other.

4. When they meet  they play Rock Paper Scissors

5.The loser goes back to their line.

6.The winner keeps going.The next team person starts jumping .

7. Then they play rock paper scissors again when they meet.

8. The winner keeps going and if they get to the end they get a point .

On Thursday a man called Paul, Mr Golf came to our school to teach us how to play golf. He taught us how to hold the golf club and stand at the te with your legs apart and launch the ball into the air.

The balloon

This week we have used a picture as motivation for our writing. We had a story starter and then we had to carry on the story.

The Balloon

The balloon was getting ready. We are getting all the stuff for the balloon. The rest of  the balloons took off. We went up drifting in the air slowly. We are going to Australia and my mate Joe is coming with me. It felt like I nearly fell off the balloon.

I landed it in Australia putting the fire out. I landed on the ground. It was foggy and scary.  I nearly fell over. I had landed safe.

Pou writing

As part of our writing programme we have been doing environmental writing. We had to sketch an object and as we were sketching we wrote down thoughts that we had. Then we wrote our thoughts down  as a poem. We cut out the sketch and added this to our writing.
