        We have learnt about making different poems about Summer and Christmas.Here are my Poems

Christmas is fun times

Christmas has a lot of songs

Lollies in stockings

Summer is so hot

We can have lots of ice cream

We can swim all day

Summer  is hot

Under the umbrella

Mum makes yummy cakes

Mucking about at the beach

Eating heaps of cake

Run in and out of the water

100 years in the future

I landed on Mars . I stepped into my spaceship classroom  
an elevator took me over to my desk as school started.
The robot teacher  was teaching. He is mean and stupid and
He gives us exams every day. His name is Dodo but we threw
sheep guts at Dodo. I played farming simulator 2117.
Dodo robots alarm went off. It was lunch time . My robot appeared
in front of me and he poured a soft mixture of soup into my mouth
and then he disappeared as quick as he came.
Then I  strapped on my motor bike that flies in the air and I went
like a bullet to the game deck to play GTA.

Vaseline saucer

Vaseline saucer need symmetrical patterns on each side.

Christmas Tree

 In Team Awa we made a poem. First we sketched a Christmas tree and I wrote down words that reminded me of Christmas. Then I wrote a poem about Christmas.

Art Term 4

This term we have completed two pieces of art.

One was inspired by an artist named Kadinsky who used coloured circles in his work. We looked at the contrast between warm and cool colours and the black and white of the buildings.

Our second piece was using the Maori words we have learnt and using these to create a visual picture. The words become the shape of the picture.

One thing I did well was the background like Kadinsky.

One thing I could improve on was the building because it was a bit muddled up.

Handwriting Term 4

We have been learning to form our letters correctly and to use capital letters in the correct place.

I am good at writing p and q on the line .

I need to get better at writing my name neater.
