Kites

Yesterday we made kites out of cardboard and sticks. We went outside and flew them. Then we wrote a poem about it.

We are learning about fractions.  They are cut into equal parts.The top number is the numerator and the bottom number is the denominator.

Paper Spinners

We made paper spinners for maths. We had to use our fraction and shape knowledge to help us fold our spinner. We decorated our spinner with patterns and colours. We battled our spinners with a friend. My spinner worked well.
