We have been working on using different art techniques to draw our faces. We have used sketching pencils to sketch our faces, making sure we made our facial features an accurate shape, size and putting them in the correct places.

We learnt about Picasso’s style and made our own funky Picasso portraits

Swimming

We have been working towards becoming a confident swimmer by learning how to be a safe swimmer. We learnt that we should always swim with an adult and to always wear a life jacket when we are on a boat. At our swimming lessons we have learnt how to float, kick, glide and use rainbow arms and we are still learning to breathe correctly.

My Progress 2017

Here is the progress I have made this year in Maths, basic facts, Reading, Writing and Spelling.  I think I have made good progress in basic facts because I have passed Stage2 and 3.

Bee Poem.

Last month we met a woman called Tracy. She is from swim safe. She talked about being safe in water. We had made our own rules. They were check the weather,your safety first,if in doubt stay out,tell someone where you're going and never swim alone.

Garden to table

We have started Garden to Table. I was in the Kitchen last week. In the Kitchen I peeled and cut the carrots.  After we had prepared all the food we sat at the table and ate it all. It was yummy.

Today I worked in the Garden. I planted little gardens.
